The 9.2G takes all the great features of our award winning PFM 9.2 to the next level with a rugged fully adjustable 4 wheeled trolley , rotary dial cutting head, and our most advanced PFM computer. Designed to not only give your increased speed and accuracy, but with the added flexibility to upgrade at any time to the full GYR Validated Brake System. Trolley and cutting head improvements allow better access on a wider variety of lifts and rotor types. Also included is our exclusive Speed-Lock cutting head with “all hand lever” locking for speed, accuracy, and smoother cuts.

9.2G Key Features How the 9.2G Works

Same as the 9.2DRO plus:

  1. Upgradable computer with USB port for full GYR conversion.
  2. Rotary Dial Cutting Head with extendable tool arms gives you the reach you need on larger rotors.
  3. Accepts linear transducer for GYR conversion.
  4. Fully adjustable carriage style trolley with tool and lug nut kit trays and perfect placement chip tray. Can be used in a range from 21" to 43" allowing use on jack stands up to drive on racks and everything in between
  1. Tech installs adapter to vehicle, then lathe to adapter by hand tightening with draw bar knob.
  2. Tech turns on lathe and presses start button to compensate for lateral run-out
  3. Tech centers cutting head over rotor, and locks down cutting head with lateral adjustment knob, sets depth of cut with rotary dial knobs and sets stop cam.
  4. Tech depresses clutch, setting cut in motion. When cut is complete, removes lathe and adapter.

ProCut 9.2GYR Rotor Matching System

Pro-Cut has taken the industry-standard PFM 9.2 on-car brake lathe and brought it into the information age. The PFM 9.2 GYR directs the technician to make in-spec repairs and captures the finished metrics (rotor thickness and run-out) of every rotor machined! Finished results are automatically saved to an on-line database and can be printed for customer and/or warranty reimbursement. The GYR System provides management with the means to set and successfully manage a single, profitable policy for brake repair.
